Pages

I feel so honored! Oh and I have a question too.

OK first my question - I want to create pages on my blog - you know like a Home, All About Me, etc. I find where it says to add the gadget but I can't figure out how to actually add the pages or how to edit them. Anyone out there know how to do this and could send me an email with instructions I would be SOOOOO grateful!!

Now for the fun stuff!!!
Janelle over at Mrs. Jannelle's Kindergarten Kingdom has honored me by presenting me with the Versitle Blogger award!!

By accepting this award I must abide by the following rules :-) So here we go!

1. Thank the blogger who nominated you. Thank you SO much Jannelle!! I am so honored you picked me!

2. Include a link to their site. Mrs. Jannelle's Kindergarten Kingdom

3. Include the award image in your post. See picture above :)

4. Give 7 random facts about yourself.

  • I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and have never lived anywhere else.
  • I  have been married to my awesome (most of the time) husband for 20 years and we have 4 great kiddos; our daughter Ashley is 24 (and she is a first grade teacher), our boys Bobby and Garrett are 21 and 19, and my step daughter Caroline is 27 (and she not only teaches pre-k but she is also the director of the pre-school) Caroline is the mommy of my sweet step-granddaughters 7 year old Kaelie and 4 year old Kayden
  • I am about to begin my 13 year teaching. I have taught 2 years of 3rd grade, 2 years of 4th grade, and getting ready to start my 9th year of kindergarten (where my heart lives)
  • I am a HUGE college football fan! I LOVE watching my UCF Knights play both on TV and in person!
  • I LOVE to shop! I love to shop for clothes and purses and for my classroom.
  • I recently bought a sewing machine and have been learning how to sew! I have made 4 cushions to use in my classroom as well as a seat cushion and back cushion for my classroom rocking chair. So far I haven't managed much except for square or rectangular cushions but hey I'm learning!
  • I didn't graduate high school, I dropped out at the end of my junior year (I was an idiot), but I got my GED right afterwards. Now I have a Bachelor's Degree, National Board Certification, a Master's Degree, and I am working on a 2nd Master's degree so I am living proof that you can do anything you set out to do no matter what stupid choices you have made in the past.

  2. I think it's really neat when teacher's kids become teachers. There seem to be so many families like that. What a great resource to have your mom to get ideas from! :)
